Wilde Magie

Auch wenn viele Zauberkundige ihre Anwendung der Magie gern als Wissenschaft behandeln, sind die Effekte der Zaubereinicht immer leicht vorhersehbar. Wilde, unkontrollierte Magie bricht sich zuweilen als Nebeneffekt des Wirkens eines Zaubers oder magischer Experimente Bahn. Wilde Magie kann in allen Situationen genutzt werden, in denen Magie zufällige und chaotische Effekte verursachen vermag. Wenn ein Charakter einen Zauber wirkt oder eine Aktion ausführt, welche einen Ausbruch wilder Magie auslösen könnte (siehe unten, „Wilde Magie einführen“), dann würfle auf Tabelle: Wilde Magieausbrüche.

Würfle den Wildmagieeffekt aus, ehe der Zauber gewirkt wird. Wende jedoch den Effekt erst danach an, außer er wandelt den Zauber selbst ab, z.B. indem er die effektive Zauberstufe[link1] verändert. Bezüge innerhalb der Tabelle auf den Zauber oder die Zauberstufe[link1] verweisen immer auf den gewirkten Zauber, die genutzte übernatürliche Fähigkeit[link2] oder den Effekt des aktivierten magischen Gegenstandes[link3]. Ebenso bezieht sich jede Erwähnung des Zauberwirkers auf den Charakter, welcher den Wildmagieschub ausgelöst hat. Sollte ein Effekt eine Zauberstufe[link1] erfordern, dann verwende die volle Charakterstufe des Zauberwirkers.

Sollte der erwürfelte Wildmagieeffekt aufgrund der Art des Effektes oder Zaubers nicht möglich sein, würfle stattdessen auf der Tabelle: Allgemeine Schubeffekte. Ein Wildmagieeffekt erlaubt keinen Rettungswurf[link4], selbst wenn er einen Zauber nachahmt, der einen Rettungswurf[link4] gestattet. Zudem kann er Einschränkungen hinsichtlich der Anzahl an Trefferwürfel ignorieren, welche er betreffen kann. Höhere Ergebnisse auf der Tabelle neigen dazu, vorteilhafter zu sein, weshalbein SL möglicherweise den Wildmagiewurf mit einem Bonus oder Malus versehen möchte, wenn eine bestimmte Handlung die Auswüchse der Wilden Magie beeinflussen würde.

Wilde Magie einführen

Die Regeln für die Anwendung Wilder Magie sind absichtlich vage gehalten, um dem SL Spielraum zu verschaffen. Dennoch präsentieren wir im Folgenden ein paar Anwendungsvorschläge, die einfach beginnen und zunehmend komplexer werden:

Gescheiterter Konzentrationswurf[link5]: Wenn ein Zauberwirker einen Konzentrationswurf[link5] nicht schafft und so einen Zauber verliert, wird ein Teil der Energie des Zaubers als Wilde Magie freigesetzt.

Bannen und Bannzauber[link6]: Wenn ein Zauber oder ein magischer Effekt gebannt werden, löst dies einen Wildmagieschub beim Zauberwirker oder Ziel aus.

Zonen Wilder Magie: Manche Orte sind magisch instabil. Wenn eine Kreatur dort einen Zauber wirkt, eine zauberähnliche Fähigkeit[link7] nutzt oder einen magischen Gegenstand[link3] verwendet, löst dies einen Wildmagieschub aus.

Metamagische Aufladung: Ein Zauberwirker kann versuchen, eines seiner metamagischen Talente beim Wirken eines Zaubers einzusetzen, ohne dabei einen Zauberplatz höheren Grades aufzuwenden, den Zauber auf einem Grad vorzubereiten (im Falle eines nicht-spontanen Zauberwirkers) oder den Zeitaufwand zu erhöhen (im Falle eines spontanen Zauberwirkers). Hierzu muss ihm ein Wurf auf die Zauberstufe[link1] gegen SG 10 + Zaubergrad + 5 pro Erhöhung des Zaubergrades gelingen, den das metamagische Talent normalerweise zur Folge hätte. Bei Erfolg erlangt sein Zauber die Vorteile des metamagischen Talentes und er verursacht zugleich einen Wildmagieschub. Sollte der Charakter scheitern, würfelt er immer noch auf Tabelle 4-5, zieht vom Ergebnis aber die Differenz zwischen dem SG und dem Ergebnis des Wurfes auf die Zauberstufe[link1] ab.

09-10Der Zauberwirker leidet für 1 Runde unter Monsterbenommenheit[link13].
11-12Der Zauber verursacht nur den ½ üblichen Schaden.
13Der Zauberwirker erleidet 1W4 Punkte Blutungsschaden[link10].
14Der Zauberwirker unterliegt für 1 Minute Schlaf[link14].
15-16Der Zauberwirker kann 1 Runde lang keine Zauber wirken und sich auch nicht auf Zauber konzentrieren.
17Der Zauberwirker unterliegt für 1 Minute Person verkleinern[link15].
18-19Der Zauberwirker leidet für 5 Runden unter dem Zustand[link16] Kränkelnd[link17].
20Der Zauberwirker wird zum Zentrum einer Zone der Wahrheit[link18].
21-29Der Zauberwirker ist betroffen, als wäre er Ziel des Zaubers.
30-32Alle Ziele des Zaubers unterliegen Teilweiser Genesung[link19].
33-38Alle Ziele des Zaubers werden um 1W8+1 Schadenspunkte geheilt; dies ist ein positiver Energieeffekt.
39-43Der Wirkungsbereich oder die Ziele des Zaubers unterliegen für 3 Runden Stille[link20].
44-50Alle Ziele des Zaubers sind für 3 Runden von Unsichtbarkeitbet[link21] roffen.
51-58Der Wirkungsbereich des Zaubers wird von Tageslicht[link22] erfüllt.
59-64Zerbersten[link23] wirkt in einem Radius von 1,50 m um jedes Ziel des Zaubers oder seinen Wirkungsbereich.
65-71Der Wirkungsbereich des Zaubers ist von Schmieren[link24] betroffen.
72-74Ein zufällig bestimmtes Tier[link25] oder eine Pflanze[link26], die Ziel des Zauber ist oder sich in seinem Wirkungsbereich befindet, unterliegt Erwecken[link27].
75-78Angrenzend zu jedem Ziel wird ein Instrument herbeigezaubert.
79-80Jede Tür innerhalb von 30 m Entfernung zum Zauberwirker unterliegt Klopfen[link28].
81-83Der Zauberwirker teleportiert auf ein Feld seiner Wahl angrenzend zum Ziel des Zaubers oder innerhalb dessen Wirkungsbereiches.
84-86Der nächste Zauber des Zauberwirkers unterliegt Zauber zurückwerfen[link29].
87-90Der Zauberwirker erhält 2W6 temporäre Trefferpunkte, welche 1 Stunde währen, aber nicht mit anderen temporären Trefferpunkten kumulativ sind.
91-92Eine Kreatur von der Liste für Monster herbeizaubern wird zufällig auf ein zum Zauberwirker angrenzendes Feld herbeigezaubert; sie steht unter seiner Kontrolle.
93-95Der Zauberwirker unterliegt für 10 Minuten Zungen[link30].
96-97Der Zauberwirker unterliegt für 5 Runden Hast[link31].
98Der Zauber wird ausgedehnt.
99Der Zauber wird maximiert.
100Der zum Wirken des Zaubers genutzte Zauberplatz wird nicht verbraucht.
